CAD Decor
CAD Decor is a sophisticated software tool for bathroom design as well as for any room in a home where ceramic tiles are used. CAD Decor software was our answer to the market demand for an application that would provide the capability to arrange interior space laid with tiles, cost estimate the project and provide full technical documentation for designers and tile buyers. With CAD Decor software it is possible to design, cost and visualise the whole project, in particular tile arrangements, colouring and quantity.
The experience we gained while creating applications for interior decorations - CAD Furniture system - enabled us to create a product that fulfils the requirements and expectations of most designers. The product's integral elements are ceramic tiles and manufacturers' databases of decorations. As well as offer an enhanced presentation of a project, professional design software should also fulfill marketing functions such as advanced options of cost estimation, reports and logistics.
Our target groups are shop assistants in exhibition rooms and manufacturers' distribution outlets. However, thanks to the software characteristics and working environment it enables any user to realise advanced projects that are usually only created by architects or interior designers. The software functions were created in such a way that even an inexperienced user, or simply a PC user (Word, Excel applications), will be able to complete sophisticated design projects following minimal training. Thanks to the CAD working environment, more advanced users can utilise typical AutoCAD functions. Using our software, an architect or an interior designer is able to design both complicated projects and interior decoration, making Cad Décor an application with significant added value.

Drawing walls
Using the software, you can draw walls using two methods - you can use wall creator or draw walls by following the path line. Both methods enable any wall layout to be created.
WALLS, WINDOWS, OPENINGS AND RECESSES
You can draw, edit and place windows and openings in sloping walls (for example, in an attic).
You can draw and edit parametrically the openings, recesses, pedestals and wall offsets.
You can place elements of the room infrastructure (air grates, gas terminations, plumbing terminations etc.).

You can search tiles and collections by specific criteria (name, dimensions, destination, technology, colour, type etc.)
- quick access to the lists of tiles
- tiles can be placed using the Drag&Drop method,
- tiles can be placed on the entire wall surface,
- tiles can be placed on any part of a room for example sloping walls, platforms, recesses, pedestals
- place tiles in vertical or horizontal strips,
- place singular tiles on the wall or on the floor, using the tile's characteristic points or optional placement,
- arrangements can be generated at any angle on the whole surface,
- arrangements of tiles with various decorations,
- alternate and mixed sets (indicated by designer tiles of different pattern, in any place),
- surfaces are divided automatically into rows and columns
- tiles can be placed automatically or manually, using the rules of cutting (e.g. lack of previously cut tiles in decor), over joint, under joint.
- edit any shapes while defining certain tile placement areas,
- dynamically navigate tile arrangements, movement, rotation towards tile's characteristic points or optional points,
- edit parameters of tile placement - angle, joint thickness, tile movement, joint colour etc.,
- serial edition of tiles and décor appearance - a collection can be exchanged into another and no change of arrangement parameters is needed,
- tile random appearance in a selected area,
- dynamically measure distance between the tiles and the project's characteristic points.
Examples of interactive tiles and decorations arrangement. Decorative strip can be placed together with the corners.

Examples of subsidiary catalogues in the Universal database:
- fixture elements,
- bathroom ceramics,
- lighting,
- bathroom furniture,
- media - heaters, switches,
- decoration elements,
- tables, chairs, armchairs, sofas,
- blinds and curtains,
- plants, decorative elements etc.
- draw elements on to the walls,
- move elements through any angle of rotation and in 3D space,
- change an element's dimensions - if it does not come from any specific manufacturer's database,
- change texture, transparency or shine effect,
- check for an eventual collision of the elements,
- cost estimate and edit the estimate of the elements you are placing.
TILES VALUATION
- count and cost estimate tiles due to their quantity or M2, decorative tiles, moulding strips,
- basic tiles can be quantified by quantity, area or package quantity,
- draw up reports looking at cut and whole tiles,
- hidden areas (without tiles) can be ignored, e. g. baths, walls with pedestals, pedestals (specific areas can be automatically found on the screen or indicated),
- orders generated from project reports include information required by manufacturers, e. g. price, tile weight;
- cut tiles can be optimised automatically, reserves can be added, (waste can be managed in the estimating module)

- interactive visualisation,
- any camera position,
- edit light features'; colour, intensity,
- edit light source,
- navigate light sources selectively, switch it on and off or change its intensity,
- projects can be saved in Export 3D application and presented dynamically on any computer not loaded with CAD Decor software,
- visualisations can be saved in JPG file from 800x600 to 4096x3072 pixel resolution
- generate printouts of photograph quality (varying printout types: in colour, linear black and white, linear with shading);
